2Rev News Flashes
Look out for Alabama..!
There is excitement building from a new partnership with University of West Alabama (Livingston, AL) as we begin a collaboration that holds tremendous promise for Alabama and Mississippi educators and a next generation of teachers. This University’s College of Education preps and supports over 4,000 educators through direct programming, as well as districts throughout both states. 2Revolutions is honored to work with the College of Education on pedagogy and content to increase learner- and equity centered instruction, assessment and leadership, while also working directly with Project Grow to increase the conditions for more learner- and equity-centered classrooms and systems by collaborating and supporting rural school leaders and teachers.
LeARner Collective Kicks Off in January
We are thrilled to share that in Arkansas, the first cohort of The LeARner Collective kicks off at the end of January. Two simultaneous cohorts will be exploring problems of practice local to their communities, working alongside other schools in their region and across the state to develop scalable, community-driven plans of action. The Delta region launches with a kickoff event January 24th, and the Northwest region starts the following week on January 31st. We can’t wait to share more about how these collectives drive learner-centered and equitable change in Arkansas.
